When you save a setting

The Dashboard sends only the fields you changed. Server, channel, and role selections are checked again on the server. If another tab or administrator changed the same setting, an older draft should not silently overwrite the newer value.

If Save is disabled, check the required fields or permission warning in the current section. If a save fails, read the error before reloading and copy any draft text you do not want to lose.

Saving a value and applying a Discord-side action are different events. Discord permissions, role order, or a deleted channel can still block the resulting action.
