Set up Fieldbot for your server

These docs cover Fieldbot 3.27.3. They separate one-time actions in Discord from persistent server settings saved in the Dashboard.

If this is your first setup, start with Getting started. To find a command, use the command catalog. To change a persistent server setting, open the Dashboard guide.

Where should you start?​

  • Use Discord commands for bans, information lookups, polls, and other one-time actions.
  • Use the Dashboard or the related setup command for welcome messages, AutoMod, tickets, invites, giveaways, levels, and automations.
  • If an action fails, check permissions and role order.
  • If Fieldbot is unavailable, check status and outages.

Grant the permissions a feature needs instead of giving the Fieldbot role Administrator by default.
