Moderation

Actions such as /ban, /kick, /timeout, /softban, warning commands, and channel locks are subject to Discord permissions. Member actions can also depend on role order.

Use /modlog status, /modlog config, and /modlog reset, or the Moderation & AutoMod Dashboard section, for moderation logging. Warning tools include /warn add, /warn history, /warn revoke, /warned, and /warning-config.

If an action fails, use only the permission and role checks that apply to that action.
